When I first found out I had PCOS I burst into tears thinking it basically meant I couldn't have kids, or would be trying forever!! But after a bit of research, I found out that it was actually really common, and my specialist put me on clomiphene (a drug to get me ovulating) and two months later I was pregnant!!! Very Happy

NOt only that, but when my first baby was 3 months old, and I was still breastfeeding, I got pregnant again!!! I couldn't believe it!!! cheers

So if you have PCOS, it's not the end of the world, go see a specialist, and they will get you on the right track to getting pregnant!!

I am so glad I came into this forum!
My sister in-law was diagnosed PCOS and her and my brother are thinking of giving up their dream of ever having babies...I will tell them of your experience!

Which of the PCOS symptoms do you have? Unfortunately it's not always as easy to conceive as it has been for you, my doctor has told me she wont do jack 'til I've lost weight, but as all you other PCOS suffers know, weight can be a side effect of PCOS - and for me it is incredibly hard to lose weight. (The amount she says I have to lose would take aprox 5-6 years.)
